I learned three very important things this week.
1. If you go hiking around in the woods/wilderness, and happen to brush your pant legs up against poison oak, and then put all your clothes in the washer together, you will spend the next two months vaguely itching everywhere.
2. If you sit down with a big bag of fresh spinach when you are super-hungry and accidentally eat the whole half-pound, your digestive system will stage a rebellion.
3. Lab clean-up days are more effective if you provide beer and snacks.
That’s all for now folks. And I thought I would learn science here at Berkeley.
